peas in a pod

I bought these peas at my nearest grocery store. They were grown less than 5 miles away. Oh, baby. This is the next best thing to growing them in my backyard, which I haven't done in about 6 years (since we got the dog who completely trashed our backyard). I had to eat many of them while shelling. So good!

those are worth buying just for the photo op.

I bought 2 blueberry bushes and planted them last week. i was so excited.
the birds have eaten every single one!

We also have a yard full of bunnies I have no idea how I am going to grow a garden with those rascals running around.

I reminds me of eating fresh peas straight from Grandpa's garden in the summer--a favorite treat!

This photo should definitely be on one of your photo cards.

ohhhhh soooo pleasing....that is the way we used to buy them in mexico, you had to actually peel them to eat peas......funny! here you just get them frozen....or in a market near by!

Since I was little, something about peas in a split pod have been a happy image. Amazing that you found them at the grocery!

We used to grow peas when I was little and I loved eating them straight off the vine. Canned peas are a blasphemy in comparison.
