Creative Friday

Claudia and her boys joined us for Creative Friday. That makes two weeks in a row of CF out-of-town guests! What are the odds?

It's always fun to have Claudia around. She epitomizes beauty & style, and she is just so full of personality.

Cute Claudia. She made Eva a little card, just because. Apparently she's cute in every picture.

I love the bird's-eye-view Max took of the table. Somehow it's a different perspective of Creative Friday. Claudia restricted herself to a tiny little section of the table, even though we kept offering to move our stuff!

I had to capture Claudia writing with her fountain pen, it's such a Claudia trademark! I love her writing and her cards. I don't think I've ever used a fountain pen, but I'm sure it wouldn't be the same with my handwriting anyway.

When I bought a baguette to make paninis, I didn't have the foresight to see just how tiny the little sandwiches would be! It was laughable, really.

This is pretty typical of Eva: always dying for a playmate or two, but when she has them, crying and/or yelling often ensue. She's a drama queen alright. (Note Alexei's bewildered expression.)

Claudia's boys were enthralled with Max. They wanted him to stop doing his homework and play with them. When he was taking photos for us, Alexei wanted him to take pictures of my apples and Jack the dog. He was totally cracking me up by calling the dog Alfred! (and by wanting to take home one of my apples -- sorry, Alexei.)

Darling Jorvik came up to me and gave me a hug and a kiss before getting in the car to leave. I don't care if Claudia put him up to it, it still melted my heart!

If it weren't for the CF self-portrait tradition, I would never allow myself to be photographed with two such photogenic ladies!

I loved the black and white self portrait! That is a beautiful shot!

Hey - thanks so much for the birthday gift! You are thoughtfulness personified. I loved the tags and I am sure I will have a little regret everytime I use one!

I loved the top view of the creative table. It had a hint of *action shot* to it.
I would come over just for the food! Your lucky friends!

I would come over just to eat on those cute black and white dishes! The paninis would just be an added benefit.

Claudia is indeed beautiful--and I wish I knew what the color/make/model of her lipstick was! I noticed it on Jill's blog, too. I laughed to myself, wondering if you noticed too, knowing that you are also a lipstick junkie.

Hey beautiful! OHHHH Alf was delighted to have some panninis left for him--I can't believe I did that and did not just have them all for moi. They were sooo good. I loved the cookies, I can't believe I had three and still wanted more and more (no wonder Alexei kept stashing them in secret places...). I really liked the b and w picture, it looks cool....something definately I will cherrish, but more so your beutiful friendships! As always sooo short and shocked when Jill said it was time to go!? Well, look forward to my next trip to Utah, hopefully it will come sooner than later!

i love those tiny paninis!

and you are SO photogenic michelle, your little profile photo is one of my favorites out of all that i've seen - so darling.

my goal in life is to some day be as impromptu as claudia so that i could just show up on people's door steps for a visit. i love that she loves you two enough to actually do it! that says a lot about the kind of friends you are.

and some day i'm seriously going to try the fountain pen thing, that is a great photograph.
