Today was my sister Jessie's birthday (isn't she gorgeous?).
Timm was out of town, she doesn't have any close friends in Charlotte yet, and I was a little worried. I didn't want her to just have a normal day like any other, and I so wished I could be there and celebrate with her.
I called her a couple of times and didn't reach her, so I hoped she was out having fun.
She called me back and said her friend Molly had taken her out to do some exploring in Charlotte. I love you, Molly! Timm sent flowers. I love you, Timm! And her neighbors had invited her over for dinner. Thank you, neighbors! It makes me feel so much better to know that at least there are people looking out for her.
That's the sweet part. The bitter part is that I can't believe it's been almost a year since they moved away to North Carolina. I miss them all so much. The kids and I talk about Jessie, Timm and Bella all the time. I was so looking forward to watching Eva and Bella grow up together and be the best of friends. They're just too too far away.
But here's another sweet part -- Jessie and Bella are coming to visit next week for 2 1/2 weeks! I can't wait, I can't wait.

I love my sisters too, and will soon live far away from all of them. I totally relate to this post. But, your sister is so adorable and I hope she had a great day.
