spt -- scavenger hunt

The new light I got for my studio -- it's one of those lampshades that is flocked on the inside, so you don't really see the pattern until you turn it on. I love damask, and I love Target!

Lunch (leftovers). Just as good as it was on Sunday, but with no effort, that's the beauty of leftovers. And for those of you who asked for the bread recipe:

Limpa Rye Bread

Mix together: 1/3 c. vegetable oil
3/4 c. molasses
2 t. salt
2 c. rye flour
2 c. boiling water

Set mixture aside to cool.

In mixing bowl, combine cooled molasses mixture, 1 T. yeast dissolved in 1/2 c. water, and 6 c. flour. Knead well (5 minutes in a stand mixer or 10 minutes by hand). Let rise twice.

Mold into 3 round loaves and let rise until double. Bake at 300 for 30-35 minutes. Brush loaves with butter when you take them out of the oven. Allow to cool before cutting.

This little one provides laughter in my life every day. She bonked her head and started to cry. When I said I was sorry she got hurt, she stopped crying and said, "you didn't do anything!" How do you argue with that kind of logic?

What a cool lamp shade, I have never seen one like that before. I'm so giddy about all this time you've been putting into your studio and can't wait until you post the finish products (video might be in order).

I enjoy leftovers too, I just don't like going through the effort of making the meal in the first place.

Eva is ALWAYS funny.

i'm super pouting because I WANT LIMPA RYE bread and if i still lived there (another pout, sniff-) I would enlist you for a loaf. I may have to venture making it myself, but I am afraid given the learning curve it seems to take.
i love eva.

I LOVE your new lamp! So cool! Target is the best ever! Which is one reason why I am trying not to go there right now. I spend way too much money in there!

Your new lamp is marvelous! And thanks for the bread recipe.

At least Eva is not holding you responsible for her bonks. We went through a phase where every time PQ would get hurt she would look to us as the culprits. PQ has those same birdie pj's.

Wow, love that lamp! How can Target be SO good? Really. I want to run and buy it now.

Thanks for the bread recipe- though I always ruin bread somehow. Cinnamon rolls are as close as I get.

I love Eva's logic. Please tell me you have a whole book of her quotes b/c she is so funny.

I get a little melancholy when bloggers post their Target finds. Don't be sorry, "you didn't do anything!" At least I dont' think you are single handedly preventing Target from expanding into Canada.

oH Michelle I love the lamp....sooooo nice. I like your spt...and I don't have left overs yet...I have to yet cook to have leftovers....slowing getting back to life so there is a long long wait list until I get to the actual cooking/kitchen part. I want to unclutter everything...So it is comming slowly.

I love child logic... especially when they stop me in my tracks because there is nothing left to say.

Excellent picture of you.
