Has anyone heard of L Letterpress??
Apparently it is a new product you can buy for DIY letterpress cards. I would love to know how well it works. Because if it works well, I am pretty sure I will be pining after it. How I love letterpress... but it seems like it might be too good to be true.

I'm curious. I love letterpress too.
How funny that you now have a "Is pining warranted?" label.
Yes! Yes! I've heard about it. Am planning to go to Archiver's to check it out and then possibly blog about it. Am a little obsessed w/ letterpress. How did I know you would be too?
Oh my curiousity is peaked!
I've never heard of it, but I WANT to!
I've never heard of this, but it sounds very intriguing! Oh the possibilities!
Oh, yeah, it's on my Chirstmas list. I saw it in action at Archivers this weekend and it looks really great! The plates they have available are cool, and it's really easy to get photopolymer plates of your own made as well. (I've even heard that it's easy to make them yourself, but I haven't actually read a tutorial to see what that involves.) I want it. . . I want it BAD!
Oh, and don't give any credence to those letterpress purists who can't find anything nice to say about this product. This machine, in my opinion, was designed to bring letterpress capabilities to those who don't have an extra $3000-$5000lying around, oh and did I mention the extra rom needed just to store the press? I would still love to learn how to use an old fashioned letterpress, but how practical is that?
PS The great thing about it is that you can use your Archivers 30% off coupon on it!!!
I'm not sure how well it works, but I've sure been eyeing it since I saw the ad. I love letterpress too.
There is a mouse in my house! It scurrying from behind my flip-flops as I was vacuuming this morning, of course I immediately thought of you!
I will be smearing peanut butter into a bucket and then creating a little staircase for the mouse to climb, so he/she can reach the peanut butter and then fall into the bucket, then I will release he/she into the field next door. Good times.
I don't know anything about that, but I do know that The University of Utah has a book arts program. They do workshops and open classes to the public for a reduced tuition since you would not get credit. I have seriously considered taking a Letter Press class. Does BYU have anything similar?
That just sounds lovely! I've been learning about letterpress in one of my classes. Actually just yesterday we went to see a guy who owns a Provo letterpress company (Tryst press). Very interesting.
Not being a part of the artistic card-making, book binding, scrapbooking set I have absolutely no idea what the item is - but it did make me think of those cute letter blocks at the flea market!
I am completely unaware of this product, but I will join on on the question because I will happily pine if it is warranted!
I read a good review of it. I kept meaning to go to Paper Source and see them do a demonstration.
