progress report

I'm happy to report that I've been crazy busy over the last two days and that I have done tons of things on my pre-Paris to-do lists!!

It totally helps that Eva has started sleeping through the night again. I know how wrong it is that I'm thrilled my 4-year-old is sleeping through the night, but... it is what it is. And when I get a good block of uninterrupted sleep, it's like I'm a whole new woman. An energetic woman, capable of accomplishing much. Yeehaw!

Anyway, here's what I've done since yesterday morning:
  • went to Kohl's and bought Eva 3 pairs of good, comfy shoes (also a couple of outfits on a really good sale)
  • took Max to cello
  • went to the distribution center (ahh, new garments)
  • stocked up on knitting needles in different sizes
  • had UPS pick up the package
  • went visiting teaching
  • made my apron for YW and had part 1 of the apron activity
  • took Lucas to get a tooth extracted
  • went to pack meeting -- Lucas got his Bear
  • made bread
  • bought Max a camera bag
  • sent FSA documentation to the insurance company
  • sorted through all of my shoes and culled quite a few more pairs to donate
This morning, I had accomplished two things on my list, baked bread, and put dinner in the crockpot, all by 10:00 a.m.! I was seriously on fire.

(Not all of these things were on the list in my previous post, but they were all on various and sundry lists I have -- my daily lists, my weekly lists, and my master pre-Paris lists.)

The bad thing: I've been too busy to take any photos. The good thing: I've been super-productive! Now if I can just keep this up, I'll be in great shape...

I am so happy that Eva is sleeping better so that you can sleep better! I really don't know how you've been functioning and being a nice mom, except that you've had 14 years of practice!

You're on fire with your productivity, woohoo, woohoo, woohoo!

Har! I just BARELY left a comment on Jill's blog stating that I cannot resist making lists! Can you imagine the satisfaction I felt when reading that you also have multiple types of lists going simultaneously?!?

I like being your friend :)

And please post your crockpot recipe. Put that on the list.

Wow! You were really busy. I love that feeling of having a list and crossing things off. It makes you feel so productive. I knew you would get it all done!

Ah, sleep! It's simply amazing what happens when you get enough of it! I'm so glad that Eva seems to be getting better just when you needed her to. What a blessing.

There is something to be said about crossing so many things off such an impressive list. I hope Eva keeps up the sleeping so you can keep checking things off!

"You GO girl!!"

I know that's not really how I talk but it seemed so appropriate for how much you've accomplished! LOVE the satisfaction of crossing something off a list!

I give you an A+ on your progress report with the annotation that "Michelle is such a happy, hard worker and I appreciate her effort."!

Keep a goin', keep a goin' you're almost there.

Thank you for the birthday cards!! LOVE THEM!!!

I can't tell you how touched I am that you remember my birthday, and how I adore using the stylish tags to impress others.

I know...I KNOW, the sleeping through the night thing is so hard. Our children are at a good place right now so although I feel there are more children to come I kind of dread it (is that wrong?).

yea to productive. who cares about the photos.
i love that kind of fire when it gets under my bum, i just wish it would stay around longer that a few weeks a year.

i can't imagine how much work goes into getting ready, what a incredible mom you are to give your kids this opportunity instead of staying home and waving goodbye to dad.

Good luck getting everything done. I love wearing new garments.

I love hearing about your "on fire productivity!" I always find that when I've got a ton of things to do I'm way more efficient...

Oh! to have a "pre-Paris" list...
(that would mean I was actually going to Paris!)
