Eva was walking into preschool with a little boy yesterday, and apparently they crammed a lot of conversation into those few minutes of walking together.
E: "He calls his mom Mom! And I said I call you Mom, too! So then I told him my dad's name is Marc."
M: "Did he tell you his dad's name?"
E: "He said his dad's name is Hot Man."
M: (laughing) "And what did you say to that?"
E: "Cool name."
Her little friend apparently held her hand down the stairs. Too bad she can't remember the name of this chivalrous little gentleman -- she takes after her dad.

How funny! I wonder what's going on at his house that he thinks his dad's name is "Hot Man".
Hilarious!
I think I should start censoring my terms of endearment...
SO incredibly cute! I love it!
I bet Ken wishes I called him hot man.
That is great!
THAT is hilarious.
It's fun to think of it in her literal, take-it-at-face- value mind.....cool name.
Oh ho, to be four. Remember bragging about whose dad was the biggest at that age? I'm not sure which is scarier, the comparisons or the revealing of pet names. How funny.
dude i love little kids. so hilarious.
Do you keep a little notebook or something to record these clever things that she comes up with?
I guess posting them on your blog is as good as a notebook, but I'm sure their are many more funny things that she says that you haven't posted...
I always marvel at the original ideas and creative expressions that come out of the mouths of my kids...
What a darling little conversation! I just love her "cool name" response. So funny!
this is so great!
Kids are so fun-
I'm wondering about the HOt Man myself? You'll have to find out who that is at the next preschool parents/program day ;)
