spt -- the first thing that attracted me to you was...

... your ability to just be yourself, with no regard for what people thought of you.

I don't think I'll ever forget sitting in your French 102 class, watching you do pirouettes at the blackboard, being a complete dork, and laughing at yourself. Your apparent utter lack of self-consciousness was so intriguing to me -- because it was foreign to me, because I think I cared a lot about the way others saw me. My very first day of university classes, and I knew I had fallen for you.

How does one get that ability? I could use a bit more or that.

I love this Michelle! This is kind of along the lines I was thinking about doing this week but can't figure out how to capture that.

The thought of him doing pirouettes at the front of the class is funny!

That's sweet! And picturing Marc doing pirouettes is an entertaining mental picture.

oh. that is lovely. and the photo is priceless.

I also just wanted to say what a difference your goodness is making in my life. I started your "tag journal" idea on Valentine's day and it has been a wonderful thing for me and my children. Thanks for the inspiration. And also your comments on my blog...I always have quite the crisis of confidence, but your comments always make me feel good about myself. That is a gift.

Also, I just saw your quote from Henry Ward Beecher and think that is about the most wonderful thing I've read. Oh my yes.

The photo is darling! Love what you wrote as well...that is kind of along the lines of what attracted me to Jeff (although I am also somewhat that way myself). Great post!

Love this. I wish I had some of that magic in me. Why do we care what people think?

I still can't believe you married your professor.
