This new little advent I decided to make this year ended up taking more time than I expected.
For some reason, even the filling and hanging seemed like a bigger task than I had anticipated. It's a good thing I love making things. And that I love advent calendars. And that I love my kids and they love advent calendars.

tis the season for advent calendars! great job and great spt!
Oh gee, these are cute. They have the Michelle stamp on them. I'm glad you spent the time to do them.
It turned out just darling! I love it. And obviously a labor of love!
It turned out so great! I knew it would (how could it not?) If it turned out to be a lot more work than you'd anticipated then I'm feeling good about not trying to take it on myself.
What a great idea! Love it!
Those are awesome! You could sell them seriuosly!
it's adorable, michelle!
(the past few years, i've gone the way of Advent Calendars with little German Chocolates behind the windows. a little chocolate for breakfast is always good, right?)
Seriously, that is one of the cutest things ever! You are so talented and so creative with what you come up with. So cute. I love it and SOOO jealous of your talents.
Oooh This is absolutely adorable. Thank you for sharing!
A labor of love and it turned out so cute!
These are darling! I wish I had finished my advent calendar from 7 years ago (YIKES, I don't even want to think about it). It's still in a box somewhere!
super cute! our advent "countdown box" is one of our favorite holiday traditions.
I love how it turned out. So cute. My kids have loved having our advent calender and I for one love the countdown as well.
Doesn't everything we do take longer than expected?
Shut up! Those are so cute and well worth the effort because you get to use them from here on out! So cute Michelle!
Argh, you're so into details, aren't you? I bet you did your utmost to make sure each little stocking was different, did you? Brilliant.
I sooooooo, soooooo know what you mean about it taking longer than you anticipated. It stuns me each time I do some kind of project how a 'little' part of the process can eat up a big chunk of time and throw things off kilter. But you did it! Enjoy!
michelle, darling!!
i can only imagine how long this must have taken
Wow - they turned out so well! The tags are the *perfect* touch - so charming and festive!
I posted the same type of thing- though yours are cuter. It did take a whole lot more time than I expected! I guess trying to make 24 days of magic just isn't that easy!
Oh - how did I miss this post?
This is so cute!!
Great job- I love it.
Oh, so adorable! Nicely done!
I have never done an advent calendar, but your post makes me want to start.
Clever and creative and cute as usual. Amy and I were talking about you on the phone the other day. She said, "I need an idea for my young women and thought I ought to ask Michelle." You are unparalleled.
copying does count as creative! i love the idea of the inspiration folder, i need to start doing that. the stockings turned out fabulous! what a fun tradition for your children.
oh i am in love. you are AWESOME!
darling, darling, darling.
don't you love advent calendars? each of the girls have one but i am determined to make one for next year.
