many, many errands, including a trip to Costco on the 23rd -- an employee told us that 1,000 people were coming into the store per hour!
Eva & Grandma baking together

Grandma created an icicle tree with fallen branches from outside, fake snow, icicle ornaments, and glitter snowflakes. Beauty and festivity follow in her wake!
Good kinds of busyness, all.

Your posts never cease to amaze me.
You have the gift of composing with pictures and word.
It's really fun to see the recap of the prior day's activities!
What a beautiful history, Michelle. Those shots of seeming ordinary, but very unordinary things is wonderful. I'm with your mom on your posts never cease to amaze me and you ability to narrate an event.
Those fudge bundles are darling...and such a good idea. Saving that idea for the future I am.
these photos are fantastic! what a great way to remember your holiday.
the last photo of eva and your mother takes my breath away!
I love the close-up pics of the baking hands, beautiful!
I also like that you do neighbor gifts. I have seen that a lot on the blogs. Nobody here (us included) does that. Hmmm.
How does your mom do it? Doesn't she ever want to lie down, unshowered in pajamas? Instead she's spreading style, generosity, lessons and Christmas magic wherever she goes!
That fudge looks yummy....I've been the recipient of that chocolaty goodness in years past. It looks like your Christmas was full of fun traditions. You have a sweet family. I hope to be able to meet you in person someday.
The glitter doesn't fall far from the icicle tree! You and your mother have such flair!
oh my,eva looks so "grown" up in the last pic.

1,000 people an HOUR? Yikes!

You have such a way of capturing these kinds of moments. I love it!
That fudge looks so good. Can you teach me? Fudge and coconut macaroons seem to be the two treats that I can not master and it irks me to no end! So really...
Eva looks so big in that last picture. Like a glimpse into what she will look like in her teen years.
