oh man, that noodle soup looks fabulous. i need some cooking lessons from you michelle, i feel like every dinner is just blurring into the next one. i'm in one of those dinner droughts you know...where you feel like you're cooking the same dinners over and over?
ya, ok, i didn't mean to go blubber in your comments section! great spts! and by the way, the dentist still stinks, even when you get to read while you wait!
I think I need to get your soup recipe. It looks better than mine.
You know I am never a fan of appointments, but at least a good book will always get you through. Today, 2 hours at the eye doctor...closer to finishing my book.
I'm a major homebody (sometimes to the point of being anti-social) and really enjoy being a homemaker. Now if only I could be a better housekeeper... I can't stand being hurried or making small talk. I love anything that makes my surroundings more beautiful or cozy. I need alone time to recharge my batteries. I love having projects to work on and books waiting in the wings.

These are great self-portraits! That soup looks so good, I love noodles like that and am okay with chicken when it's shredded.
The dentist isn't so bad if you can read while you're there waiting eh?
That is what I am making for dinner tonight! Care to share your recipe?
I took Mya to the dentist on Monday for a filling- it would have been nice to read instead of hold her hand the whole time :)
i'm just learning to remember to take a book with me when i know there's going to be down time.
your soup looks great. we just finished a huge batch. i thought i'd be over it, but i'm almost ready to make more!
That soup looks so good on our dreary, cold, drizzly day. Good book?

Putting your feet up with a bowl of soup like that--what could be better?
Michelle-
I would love it if you could share your chicken noodle soup recipe! :)

Michelle, such a cozy post, even if some of your day included a dentist trip, any day with soup and a novel can't help but be cozy!

It was finally chilly here in the Big D and your post made me feel all cozy and warm.
I too would love the recipe. I don't have a good chicken soup.
That dentist photo is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.
Okay, I'll repeat the request for that beautiful soup.
And I've got to get a really good book. Both of those pictures just make me hungry.
Yum, that soup just looks so good and so comforting on a cold day.
How nice that you got to read and relax at the dentist's office!
Yum!
The photo of Eva could only have been better had it been a video so as to hear the encouragment!!
I'll be waiting for the recipe as well.
i just realized that I can see lucas in the corner of your pic, just over the book!
