October monthly special

Today I finally got a chance to work on the Take-Out Photo October monthly special!

Marc took the pictures of the kids in their Halloween costumes last year, which pretty much makes the whole thing. Still, I'm happy with the result.

It was fun, and now that I have a dot template, I think I'll do another!

Wow. That's just about all I can say.

I need to look into those monthly challenges, but never seem to find the time. I love this one--maybe enough to actually find the time to try it! (Can I do it in Photoshop Elements? That's all I have.)

Looks great! I was hoping that someone would do a Halloween-themed dot grid. Maybe you will inspire some other readers to try out the dot challenge. Since you inspired me to revise and simplify the tutorial, it should be even easier.

Blast! I'm about 6 months behind on the monthly challenge. Every month I swear I'm going to catch up and every month I'm still here.

Love the pictures.

I just noticed you put exclamation points next to your mom and Denise- too funny!

That looks like the cover of a Martha Stewart Halloween magazine! Which, incase you didn't know, is about the highest praise I can possibly give.

I love this. I'm brand spankin' new to Photoshop and tried to do this last night after I saw yours. Ha! Three hours later I had one (is it ridiculous that it took me so long?!)...but I'm waiting to post a perfected version! I'm excited to start joining all of the challenges (and kind of want to go back to past ones, too...no better way to learn PS I suppose).

This looks so great! I want so badly to leap into the challenges, but the word "photoshop" gives me a stomachache. And I have a former-graphic-designer husband, even.

Ack! Photoshop=Anxiety

Love your take on his project. It looks perfect. Are you going to print it and hang it as decor this halloween?
