over the river and through the woods

... to the Woods' house we came! We were fortunate enough to be able to come to Denver for Thanksgiving, one of my favorite places, one of my favorite times. My dear grandparents live here, my darling aunt Denise and her family, and even my parents are here visiting. It's been a delightful couple of days, with two more to look forward to. It's going to be so hard to go home on Sunday...

{more updates to follow when I can get my pictures loaded}

I'm so glad you finally posted something. Even though I know that's where you are, I didn't know how long you were staying or how things were going. (I'm feeling seriously out of touch because of my trip too.)

Have fun and take tons of pictures (no regrets)!

Sounds lovely! I've never been, but
have a friend in Fort Collins who
adores CO! (she's lived everywhere)

I love snow and blue skies. What a view.

I'm glad you've got such a great combination of location and company for your Thanksgiving.

How exciting to be with family and loved ones, and to visit places that signify so much to us...or you in this case. I think that is the magic of the holidays...that family makes effort to get together and enjoy's each other's company.
Feel sad for your sadness...but that only makes the reunion only sweeter...next time.

Ok you really did go over the river and through the woods. I'm glad that you're having such a good time that coming home will be bittersweet. I love getaways like that.

Oh, how fun! It's so nice to be with family during Thanksgiving, especially if it's family that you don't get to see a lot. I hope you had a great trip and than you made it home safely.

I hope you've enjoyed a great trip! Favorite place, time, and people. Lucky to celebrate in what I am sure was a gorgeous setting, too.

Sounds like a great trip, I want to see some gorgeous photography. I'm sure you're in the mode of getting 'back into it'. I hope that isn't too overwhelming. (If you're home that is...)
