the wee hours

I had a thought just now: I should have done a quick post every night during these past two weeks right before going to bed with a picture of my clock. It would have been a little peek into my progress as well as my state of mind. Then again, it would also have been awfully repetitive, since 3:00 a.m. seems to be my new bedtime.

I am feeling pretty left out of the blogging world. Jill told me briefly about the 1000 bunnies project and I almost felt like crying that I am missing out on all the fun. Who knows what else I have missed? I can't let myself think about it too much or I start to feel too down...

Only two more late nights to go. After Christmas, I'm getting back to a better sleep schedule, even if I do still have unfinished projects. I'm actually totally amazed that I've kept this up for 12 days in a row now and haven't gotten sick! (knock on wood...) I'm in the home stretch!

Oh, and I guess you could report on the fabulous things I've been missing on blogs if you must. (sob)

I can't believe you have been able to keep it up with the late nights. You are far more dedicated than I would be. The things you worked on over here were so beautiful- I hope that the recipients appreciate them.

It seems like you are caught up on my blog life. I have missed your updates and have been thinking about you a lot lately- wondering how you are fairing. 2 more nights and then I hope Marc feels generous enough to let you sleep a day away. I hope you are able to get back to a regular sleep schedule.

Hang in there!

That would have been so cool if you had taken a picture of the clock every night before going to bed. At least you did it tonight eh? I can't believe you've handled these many late nights so well, but then again Eva has been training you for 4 hours of sleep a night and apparently the training worked.

Your almost there! Only 2 more days!!

I got your darling Christmas card yesterday! Thanks so much!

Merry Christmas!

You are much more devoted than I am- I've been in bed by midnight most nights (although it was 3am last night). My family can wait until they get back in January for their gifts.

If it helps, I have NO idea what 1000 bunnies is. Jill had to tell me Hannah posted about the book I made her. And I am haunted daily that my last post was probably in November.

Everything changes after Christmas- right?

Don't worry about missing out, you can always catch up and usually.. most people are so busy posting isn't top of their priority (at least it isn't mine). I was going to send something for the 1000 bunnies, but I never got around to it. So- you at least missed out because you didn't know about it- I knew and still missed out, which makes me depressed.

I too am amazed at the lack of sleep you are getting having small kiddos. I just don't function on little sleep.
I am sure all of your projects are wonderful. I LOVED your christmas card. It was very cute.

I'm with Lara on the bunny thing. I knew about it and didn't jump on it quick enough. Merry Christmas.

I am totally lost about the bunny thing? I am not going to let myself go searching (no time to spend on the computer). I have been trying to keep blogging in limited form but am out of it on many of my usuals.

Your clock is very cute. I can't wait to find out what you have been up to all these late nights. I hope have taken many pictures and will share once you have given all of the gifts.

(I am trying not to think about the bunny thing so I can get up and walk away from the computer NOW...)

I feel the same way you do. With so much going on blogging has definitely not been the priority. I hate missing out as well and feel down when I think about it too much. I suppose the only thing that keeps me feeling good is knowing that my time and energy is spent on my family.

I've never heard of the 1000 bunnies until now. What is it?

Michelle, my fellow night owl! I love folks who stay up late. I, too, have been doing the 3 a.m. bed thing lately and am amazed I'm not sick! I am back on track now for a more humane bed time, but aren't those early morning hours so wonderful? So productive, so quiet, so all mine. I love the picture of your clock! And it's red, too! My favorite color.

Sweet dreams ...

Michelle, I know what you mean about being out of the loop. I haven't read a blog for ages it seems! I'm trying to get back in the swing of things now that I've made it through Christmas.

You are insane! I hope that your late nights are over--and that you haven't had trouble settling back into a "normal" sleep routine.
