holy cow!
Jenn, you are officially out of control! I just checked my phone messages and there was one from Jenn saying she wanted to drop something by. Just then, I heard a van door outside so I went to open my front door. There on the porch was this beautiful basket. It has two darling tea towels in it (oh, how I love the polka dots), fresh flowers, the latest Real Simple magazine, three cutest little Where the Wild Things Are notebooks, Symphony bars, mini M&Ms, AND just about the cutest stamp set ever made, complete with its own tin. Did I mention all these things were color-coordinated? It's all so cheery, it gave me an instant lift to my spirits.
I didn't know anyone honored the old May Day tradition of giving baskets of fresh flowers anymore. Leave it to my incredible friend Jenn. I can hardly imagine making up a basket like this for one person, and I'm sure I'm just one of the people on her rounds tonight. If I ever have the means, I hope I am as generous as Jenn is. Thank you thank you!!!

Talk about out of control!! The May Day Fairy visited my house too, and I'm freaking out. It's like a big, birthday present not a "just because" present. We're very lucky indeed. As I was looking at the cute stamp set she gave me I was thinking "Michelle would love these even more than I do" so of course I should have known that she would have generously given those to both of us. Wow, generous Jenn strikes again.
That is insane! I wish I had the means to do such things, and if I ever do, I hope I think to do such generous things. That looks like quite the fabulous gift! {jealous} but happy for you :)
It gives me pleasure just to look at the pictures! Where in the world did she find such incredible tea towels?
Very awesome! She is out of control but in a very good way. I don't think I have ever heard of anyone as good at this as she is....the money is one thing, but taking the time to deliver, assemble, collect, 5 kids, etc is what makes these gifts so amazing!
tea towels were found at Bed Bath and Beyond. they also come in super cute greens and blues!
and for the record, your basket of goodies came from little things never sent. with five kids, you do it feast and famine! so glad you enjoyed it!
Old May Day? what is that? Well what a wonderful gift to receive. I love giving gifts it makes me happy to make someone happy!
you guys are out of control, but in a good way. just love seeing what is going to pop up next in your mailboxes or by delivery.
