monday weigh-in
Monday is a day of accountability for me: the day I weigh myself and see how I'm progressing toward my goal. I lost 1.8 pounds last week -- I had hoped for more, but realistically, since Marc made his famous peanut butter-chocolate chip cookies last night, I guess I'm lucky to have lost that much at all. (Resistance to these cookies is futile. I ate three of them last night and one for breakfast this morning.) So my total lost since I started on January 5th is a whopping 6 pounds. Not bad, but that leaves me with 14 more to lose in just over 5 weeks to meet my goal. Not impossible, but not easy, either. Wish me luck!

Way to go! I think losing anything at all is miraculous; and doing it publicly even more so. Impressive.
Ditto to Jill! I would be happy to lose half a pound. Resistance to anything around here is futile! We entertain ourselves with food!
Good luck, and congratulations on the loss!
Well, in the time that you have lost, I have gained it all! Way to go - slow and steady wins the race!
I am very proud of you- it's not always easy. Sometims I think the slower you lose it the better chance you have to keep it off... good for you! :)
Way to go Michelle. And after eating cookies last night? Miraculous for sure. I loved your cleaned out fridge and love reading about you and your life. You and Jill have given Kristi just one more thing to do each day. Yikes!
