deck the halls!
the Madeline house my mom gave me several Christmases ago – it brings back fond memories of the Madeline books I loved as a girl...
I asked her for miniature wreaths to tie on my chairs – I love them so.
The boys' tree. I found some snowflake cluster ornaments at Robert's, they are so cute!
Eva made some new ornaments for her tree – a square snowman, ice cubes, a snow globe, and a mirror made of tinfoil. Okaaayyyy.
Even though I can NOT believe it's December 1st, our stocking advent is ready to go for tonight. Fa la la la la!

Your halls are always decked so beautifully!
You are so on the ball. We don't have a tree yet, waaah. I am falling behind. I love it all especially the Madeline house and the photo of your door.
I opening my Google Reader just now hoping for a festive post from someone I love. You answered it and gave me what I needed! Thank you!
Love your decor. I usually don't mind my apartment, but our lack of cozy decor for Christmas makes me a little blue. Maybe I'll just blow up pictures of your decor and your Mom's store and hang them on my walls.
You deck the halls very well! I love the chair wreaths, and Eva's mirror ornament definitely made me smile!
You decorate so beautifully. I just love it and love that you take good pictures of it.
I love the idea of wreaths on the chairs. REally love them.
And your stocking advent. I'd forgotten how darling they are. Would you direct me to the original post again please?
So very beautiful . . .
I am SMITTEN--Infatuated with, besotted with, in love with, obsessed with, head over heels; enamored of, attracted to, taken with; captivated by, enchanted by, under someone's spell, moonstruck by; informal bowled over by, swept off one's feet by, crazy about, mad about, keen on, hot on/for, gone on, sweet on, gaga for with your madeleine petit chez vouz! WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWQW
ALL looks very beautiful!

Oh man I love Claudia's comment. I always love your Christmas decor, I covet your tree even though I know I shouldn't. It's beautiful.
Loving the wreaths! Everything looks so wonderful and festive!
I'm loving it all!
Those mini wreaths are so cute- what a great idea.
You are so good-
Gooooooorgeous!
I'd sell my soul for that little white snowy house.
And then I'd sell my sister's soul for a stocking advent.
Wow. Claudia knows a lot of descriptive phrases.
And one more thing, you.
YOUR WREATHS ARE TIED BEAUTIFULLY.
I can't help it. I am envious of your innate skills and taste.
"Everyone thinks they have good taste; but not everyone can possibly have good taste."
(Name the movie with the above quote--w/o googling it--and i'll bring you my secret toffee.)
(in person.)
Mmmm...I love your festive decor Michelle. And your mom. I'm just going to sit here and think about how much I love it for a while.
P.S. I totally understand your fear of Pinterest. Also, I TOTALLY pinned the picture of your front door.
Saw Jessie's Advent calendar today, so, so cute! I, too, like the ribbon on your front door. It all looks very inviting and a little familiar!
i am in love with those mini wreaths. i need some.
your home looks beautiful. very cozy and christmasy!
I try not to feel like your festive halls put mine to shame, but they kind of do.
Wish I had chairs that I could attach wreaths to- love that!
Wish I had an advent calendar of any kind but am smitten with your little stockings.
Wish I had been free to make flowers with you this week. I don't quite know where this week has gone.
Okay, now you are just taunting me.
Taunting me with your new banner, featuring the little white snowy house which I would sell my soul for.
I'm in love with your front-door wreath. And the mini chair wreaths. And the stocking advent calendar. And the glitter houses.
Our apartment is about as decked as it's going to be right now. We just don't have a lot of Christmas stuff, but in a way that's kind of exciting. I like knowing that over the years we can accumulate a winter wonderland of Christmasy goodness.
You have the best stuff!
