day 2 in Hawaii

On Monday, we had a leisurely morning. (I love it when I catch my children playing and having fun together.) Lucas volunteered to sleep on the hide-a-bed. He may have regretted this generous act a bit later on.
Max definitely had the best deal of anyone — a little room of his own with a tv and the best view of Waikiki.
We walked over to a lagoon attached to another hotel and the boys were able to try the stand-up paddle. They took to it immediately and loved it! Each of them did it independently, and then they did it together.
Eva even got to ride around with them for a good chunk of time. I was shocked that she was willing to try this. The girl really knows how to keep you on your toes.
This inflatable swim vest made her much more comfortable and at least gave us both more independence. But the salt water takes some getting used to!
This little fast food joint was near the lagoon. You know, for when you just really need to eat a pickle. At the beach.
This woman had her hands full. I thought her dog stroller, complete with toys, was hilarious.

After an afternoon in the sun, we were beat, so we got some dinner and rented movies to watch in our condo.

I'd like a set-up like Max's!

I've never felt a craving for a pickle on the go...ever.

Oh my goodness, I would kill to have a condo in Hawaii! That is so fantastic. One of my most favorite experiences was going to church on Kauai. Can't wait to see more pictures.

I'm about to have an anxiety attack looking at the picture of the dog lady.

A room with a view- sigh. Who wouldn't love that?!

The room with the view - so cool!

The pickles on the go-- huh?

What a great time-
All those dogs- were they hers or is she a dog walker?
