miscellaneous Monday

1. Thank you to all of you who have prayed and wondered about my mom. All of her tests proved inconclusive, and she checked herself out of the hospital on Friday. She has a referral for a specialist, and we are hoping and praying that she doesn't end up back in the E.R. She is thrilled to be out of the hospital, and is back at work with a (hopefully) limited schedule.

2. Here is a picture of Marc painting over the last of our old gold color! His painting job is finished, but mine has a loooong way to go.

It's been sheer chaos here for quite some time.

3. While the bookcase was emptied and pulled away from the wall, we decided to fix the outlet behind it so that we can finally have a functioning lamp there again!

I googled how to replace an outlet. It looked like a piece of cake. It wasn't exactly a piece of cake, but Marc did it! (I had to document him being handy.)

4. I am struggling with motherhood right now. I am questioning whether I am really the right mother for these three children of mine. I just can't seem to figure out what to do, what to say. I definitely do not have the answers. Jill reminded me that I am in Parenting 505, but right now I fear I am failing the course.

I do strongly dislike painting but strongly like the results. It will be nice when yours is finished.

I hope they find out answers for your mom quickly.

Motherhood is a grand but difficult challenge. We're all in it together.

oh painting...
Good for you for getting it done!
It is just so- so hard

You are a wonderful mother-
I can relate with your feelings. It will get better.

I'm so happy to hear your mom is out of the hospital- I hope she can find some answers soon.

AUGH, painting! That's about all I have to say about that.

I can't wait to see your finished product!

I wish I had some parenting advice for you, but I don't. Obviously. All I can say is that you're one of the most Christlike women I know, and with that as one of your strengths, you can do anything. Even motherhood.

You are such a champ to be dealing with all the home chaos while going through a rough patch in the Parenting 505 curriculum!!!

I will continue to keep you and your mommy in my prayers and I hope that everything turns out well.

Sometimes I keep asking myself if I'm the only parent without a parenting manual but I've realized that sometimes we don't have all the answers and we just need to continue to pray for guidance.

As for me, I don't know a finer mother. You amaze me, and how I wish I had been more like you as a young mother.

Both of my daughters turned out to be the finest mothers, and I am amazed constantly at what I observe.

Stay close to the center of the path, pray always and all things will work for your good. Motherhood included.

Love you and thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
