surfacing

It's been quite a month.

I have tons of things I'd like to blog about, but I have been so very very busy and I am exhausted. Also, Marc is in Paris for a month. Every night, I sit down around 9:00 and I can barely keep my eyes open. Whatever I had planned to do at night goes out the window. (I'm even too tired to knit!)

Today I finally started to feel like I had some energy again, like normal life might be on the horizon. I mowed the lawn for the first time this year!

I am finally loading photos from the last few weeks.

Coming up:

Jessie's visit
Max's school play
My parents' visit
Women's Conference
Eva's birthday

Ahhhh, we shall have great reading and photos ahead.

It does get overwhelming to catch up, don't you think?

I'm amazed you're even mentally making plans for things to do in the evenings, I tend to obsess about going to bed early when life gets crazy like that.

I hear you on the exhausted part. Our drive down to FL and back, two days of "recovery" before I headed to Women's Conference, and then little sleep while there, really knocked me out. I'm still feeling a bit tired and behind on everything. I hope you get your energy back, and I'm looking forward to hearing about all your fun adventures over the past month.

Catching up is overwhelming, for sure! I hope you are finding some moments of respite while Marc is in Paris.

I can totally relate! I am so far behind on blogging as well...tons of cute projects to post and no energy or time to do it!

I'm not sure why, but since I have returned from conference, I am dead tired! I'm going to bed at the same time and getting up at the same time, but totally dead tired! I feel like taking a nap within the hour that I arise and one during the day and one after I get home in order to work during the evening hours...what the?!

Take some time to get over the load of activities that have weighed you down...at least there is no more drivers ed.

I'm looking forward to your posts, I'll admit I've been longing for them...especially the Conference notes and the birthday docs. I'll be waiting!

looking forward to it! I get overwhelmed quickly when life feels out of control. We had several extra things the last 2 weeks and I just can't catch up!

I'm looking forward to the coming posts and will save my stellar review of Max's school play for the actual post.

I feel busy and without energy all the time too- why doesn't chocolate help that?!
