Creative Friday!

Yesterday, Jill and I had our first Creative Friday since she started her new job. Needless to say, it was highly anticipated.

doesn't she look so pretty?

She brought lunch from Taco Amigo and a Sonic drink! So nice.

She also brought me two new kinds of good mail labels and a new good mail address list. Giddy.

I got some Christmas Cadbury chocolates and we broke them out, the first ones of the season. Nobody appreciates these like Jill.

the table before it got really messy

Jill made many cute cards.

She got all caught up on her birthday good mail and good mail giveaway winners!

Lucas was thrilled to get to play with Landon, but Eva and Max were a little adrift. Fortunately, Marc was home from work and he helped out greatly. He took Eva out to lunch and to Borders, then he took Max to a movie and Eva had a friend over.

Jill stayed from 11:30 - 6:30, so we had a lot of good catching up/creating time!

Jill brought some of her mom's caramel popcorn (made from hull-less popcorn, have you ever heard of such a thing?) and I got out some of the leftover rolls from Thanksgiving.

I was filling some tag orders and having hole punch difficulties. The first one I used was too tiny to get the string through, so I had to re-punch them with a bigger one that ended up looking rather too big. But the punched out holes were intriguing: they reminded me of olives, but Jill thought they looked like eyeballs.

When we start wrapping things up, we usually stuff all of our trimmings and trash into the empty Sonic cups. I don't think I've ever documented that before.

Jill's output for the day – seriously productive! We made a mail run and then came back and worked a little more. It was such a good (and needed) day.

It was such a good day! The productivity and joy of it is going to carry me through until we're able to meet again (in just over 3 weeks).

I'm a grateful that Marc stepped in to help occupy the kids, otherwise things could have been much more challenging for us.

Yay for holiday days to have Creative Friday! Thank you for your good mail I received the other day. It was totally unexpected and when I saw the return address I thought to myself," ohh I hope they are Paris colors!". So delightful! Thank you so much!

I'll comment-by-numbers:

1. You both look positively radiant. Glowing skin, glowing expressions.

2. I can FEEL the therapeutic vibes coming in waves from my computer screen.

3. YOU TAKE ORDERS FOR YOUR SCRUMPTIOUS TAGS???????? How can I order some? And this is a SERIOUS compliment, because I have limited funds. But I am ordering some. Yummy, yummy, yummy.
