- I'm a major homebody (sometimes to the point of being anti-social) and really enjoy being a homemaker. Now if only I could be a better housekeeper... I can't stand being hurried or making small talk. I love anything that makes my surroundings more beautiful or cozy. I need alone time to recharge my batteries. I love having projects to work on and books waiting in the wings.

I love it. And yes, Eva is definitely a conundrum. She won't eat homemade jelly but she'll stare avidly at a giant bug. Go figure.

I love your banner too! I'm afraid that we are going to have a very sad fall...it's been so terribly dry and we have water restrictions. Everything is withered and no color at all. Yes,s it's bleak! I love the fall in the North East, but I'm afraid this year will be a sad one.
