Clear mascara. I've had several people ask me what I do to my eyebrows. Here's the deal: I pluck them every now and again, and I brush them up with clear mascara every day. It shapes them and holds them in place, and once it dries, you can't even tell it's there. (I use Cover Girl.) Trust me on this one.

Peaches & cream. Especially with peach sauce. I just can't get enough right now.

Kindergarten. The excitement hasn't worn off. Even though I usually have things I need to do while Eva's gone, and I've been driving a lot, I still just love knowing that I'll have at least some time to myself every day. Even working alone is a nice breather. And sometimes, just sometimes, I can even do something fun during that time:

I went out to lunch yesterday with Amie, Crystal, and Jill. Kid-free conversation, laughter, and food. It was so nice!

Clean Mama. I'm not sure how I stumbled onto this blog, but I'm glad I did. She is doing a whole bunch of posts in September about meal planning, with several free printables. I've been working on my list of family favorite meals and I will definitely be doing some prep-ahead stuff that I can keep in my freezer. I'm hoping that this will help me get over my dread of what to make for dinner.

These tags that Marc brought me from the Paris flea market. I may never use them.

Do you have any current favorites?

I will have to buy some clear mascara, and I just spent quite awhile getting distracted on Clean Mama. However, B.C. peaches are done and my peach season is over for this year. Too bad for me.

I forgot you used to do favorites posts! I loved reading all of these things. I do love the tags Marc brought you. What do you want to bet you replicate them? I'll bet you do.

I've never heard of clear mascara. That would be a brilliant eyebrow controller.

I am so intruiged with that mascara! I want to try it. My family loves peaches so I will be trying that. The tags are so cute, and getting together with friends kid free would be heaven. I can't fathom being alone for 2 1/2 hrs a day.

Clear mascara seems like a brilliant concept!

Jane is right--you are brilliantly creative and will probably make your own tags. :)

Favorite things right now: the Sunday CD that Jill sent me a while back, fresh nectarines, classic lit, and getting back in the creative & blogging grooves.

I always enjoy favorites.

I love it that you get some time to yourself each day (it is SO overdue) and hope the giddiness never wears off (I don't think it will).

Aargh, you picked one of the scariest of our lunch self-portraits...betrayal.

The peaches and cream with the peach sauce is heavenly, thanks for sharing it.

I was just telling Kelly about your peach sauce when it struck me to check your recipe blog which I can only get to from your regular blog and behold- peaches were in this, your most current post!!

I'm making your peach sauce to go on ice-cream for Sunday dessert and I can't wait!!

I love that Kindergarten makes you so happy!!

I'm going to have to try your clear mascara trick since my brows can become unruly when I least expect it.

So happy for you to have your own time each day while Eva is at school. It's absolutely okay to feel giddy about it too!

I am currently infatuated with lavender scented Fabuloso which almost makes me eager to mop. Two other faves right now are Pure Grace lotion and spray by Philosophy and Maybelline's black eye liner in a little jar.

Totally blushing to see me as a favorite :) Thank YOU!

I cannot WAIT to check out Clean Mama. I love to menu plan and this looks like a more organized way to do it than my current method of....scribbling 3 weeks' worth of menus in my notebook and not ever keeping permanent record.

Not so favorite: My huge freaking head in that photo. Ugh.

I should get back on the clear mascara thing. Hmm.

I love that tulip edge bowl.

The font that 'DONE' is written in is one of my favorites. I have so many fonts downloaded, but I have no use for them. Ha!

I will NOT miss Women's conference this coming year & maybe we could all meet?

LOVE the TAGS!

Who cares if you don't use the tags. They are beautiful. Can't wait to go spend time I should be sleeping or planning my Joy School lesson over at Clean Mama. Since we're eating mostly out of food storage I have been forced to plan meals and it relieves so much stress in my day.

Favorites? Those Nature Valley granola squares with chocolate on one side. Found them today and I refuse to admit how many I've eaten. Let's just saw the box is half full.

oh my, I love love the photo of you like whispering about having free time...I have now 3 hours in the early morning...I am still thinking I should have put Jorvik in LATE OWLS, they go in like at 9 1/2 and then get out like at 1....and I have him early with alexei but he gets out 11 1/4....kind of early...oh well. at least it is very cute to see them both walk to school together and see then in the distance watching out for each other......
I also love the clear mascara but somehow it ends up picking up all the "OTHER COLORS" from the make up in the face....I wish I had longer eye brows....le sourcil....le sourcil......
