spt -- au naturel

I think I'm not very good at au naturel – there aren't many things I like to eat just plain. (Well, I suppose I could have done something with chicken, but that would have been a pretty scary photo...)

I just happened to be making a salad last night that I was served at a birthday party recently. I guess I prefer my flavors to be mixed together! (Two dressings, even: balsamic vinaigrette and blue cheese.)

p.s. I think I should get extra credit for taking this photo with my left hand! It was quite a balancing act.

That looks oh so tasty to me. It's funny how much I love salad when someone else makes it!

This is one of my favorite salads to eat at CPK. I have tried replicating many times but have not managed to get it right - it seem and sounds like you have....

Buen apetito!

Oh Michelle! Cali has started mixing those two dressings together on the last few salads she's served us . . . you're so right, they are very delectable. I just love the combination.

I love how everything you serve looks so beautiful. You have such an artistic eye in all you do--paper work, yarn work, food, photography. It's beautiful.

I thought Jill wrote that your salad look so nasty, not tasty. Seemed a bit harsh to me, ha!

She is right, salads always seem better when someone else makes them.

I have to admit, the plate makes it look that much more delectable!

Yum. That salad looks good to me. I had popcorn for dinner after a long retail day...after a longer retail night the night before. I could go for some of that right this minute...but, I think I'll jump in bed.
