8. It was warm enough yesterday to go barefoot. (Today it's hailing.)
9. My grape hyacinths are finally in bloom! Such a happy sight.
10. Grocery shopping.
11. Strawberry/pecan/feta salad for dinner.
12. Knitting while watching Chuck and 24. A very good end to the day.

I used to think that grape hyacinths were weeds and I would, ahem, pull them out of people's yards when I went on walks through Provo.
To keep for myself, because I thought, 'Oh, what pretty little weeds! I'll take them and the homeowners will be so glad to have them gone!'
That cake is looking absolutely delightful. And knitting while watching new TV episodes is a very good end to any day.

Grape Hyacinths will always remind me of my grandfather. I just adore them.
It sounds the crazy weather we had in Dallas a couple of weeks ago. 80 and warm enough to plant flowers- the next day we had snow of all things. Especially given that snow is fairly uncommon.
I'm in love with the color themed book you are making using Paris photos. Did you show it and I missed it?

I love puzzles too. The cake looks very amazing.
I wonder if the pace of your day is as relaxed as the post seems? I love that about you- that it is rare for you to seem rushed or frazzled.

I'm with Miranda--never, at any time whatsoever, do I enjoy doing monochromatic puzzles--let alone first thing in the morning! I would, however, enjoy a slice of that cake at any time, in any place, and under any circumstances. And the salad, too, please.

I am croaking over Rebekah's comment about pulling grape hyacinths out of people's yards. Oh my goodness! I think they smell so good. One of my favorites.
