Amazing! Painters exist in a different dimension, no?
Your post made me think of Ferris Bueller...that part where Cameron is entranced by the painting. (And there you have not-so-deep portion of my comment.)
I did the same thing at Musee D'Orsay and at Musee De L'Orangerie. It is so amazing when you get down to individual strokes - I think "How did they have the vision for this little paint stroke to turn into this gorgeous painting? It is also amazing to see all the different colors, that from a distance you don't even realize are there. Beautiful!!
I'm a major homebody (sometimes to the point of being anti-social) and really enjoy being a homemaker. Now if only I could be a better housekeeper... I can't stand being hurried or making small talk. I love anything that makes my surroundings more beautiful or cozy. I need alone time to recharge my batteries. I love having projects to work on and books waiting in the wings.

Now if this isn't the most creative post! I love it.
I love your header, too.
Both confirm you have such an artistic eye.
So, is this the secret to your gorgeous photos?

Paintings like these are mind bending to me.
Oh, I'm in love, love, love with your new header.
And I think artists are born with different eyes than the rest of us.
impressionist art is so cool
So cool, Michelle! Thanks for the bird's eye view. I love this post!
brilliant!
I'll never understand how individual brushstrokes can create something so seamless and real. Or how opaque paint can capture light so perfectly.
