spt -- I resolve #3

Lelly's challenge for today was, "I resolve to take more self-portraits while trying new things." I struggled with this one. Apparently I don't try very many new things (unless they're recipes!).

But then I remembered this:

My mom put it in my stocking, and let me tell you, I am in love! I don't think I can wear makeup without it now -- you put just a little bit on your face before putting on your foundation, and voila! Your skin feels like silk! Pores are minimized, foundation goes on super-smoothly, and my skin looks and feels better.

If you wear foundation, you should really give this a try.

She gave me some, too, and I love it! It really does makes your skin feel like silk.

I've never heard of this--where can I find it?

P.S.--Is that your bathroom with those fabulously striped walls?!
Wow!

OHHH YEAH! I was introduced to this a couple of years ago....I've had three so far, and need to get a new one. It is an exceptional cool product. I agree with you, it is hard to go back to not having it. How thoughtful. I don't even have a stocking...maybe next year!

Well, since I accidentaly posted my comment three times, I will write you another. I am sorry I hate it when this happens. So yeah! I also came to a great new blush. My belle soeur in Houston...send me for christmas like a whole set of makeup. I am usually very hard to buy for specially make up...but being herself a pro and having me send her stuff to Australia before, her loot was awesome. She introduced me to BENEFIT OHHH my goodness...Next time I come up, I will show you. It is very very NICE! I should do a post on this huh....

I went straight to amazon and found .5 oz for $16. I can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks!

Your mother gave you a lovely product. I used to used it as well but was introduced to Dr. Wexler MMPi Regenerating serum and its just as nice but you can just use it alone...its perfect for those none make-up days.

love how it says "photo finish" on the bottle. I would love to feel silky. Thanks for the tip.

I think "photo finish" is perfect for an SPTer like you.

Your recommendation has me sold and searching around for product. I could use a silky feeling face. Thanks for sharing!

So how do you think it works with oily skin? I love the thought of reducing my pores. I can't believe how big they have gotten.

Also, if my "foundation" is not liquid will it still work? Where do you get it? Nordstrom?

Your mom must be the best gift giver ever, and you are inspired to post this. Seriously, if you saw how dry and un-silky my skin was, you would know that this was a much needed tip!

I am going to try some!

Is this one of those fabulous things they only sell at Sephora? Can I get it here? I definitely need some pore minimizing goodness. How does your Mom find these good things?!

Yes, I too was converted the first time I tried it! (It can;t do that much for 60 year old skin, but I still love it and I can pretend) Grandma Charlotte said once, "I'm too old to be pretty, but I can still be cute"! That pretty much sums it up.

I buy it at Ulta, which I understand you do not have in Provo. But I'm sure you could get it at Sephora as well. Not sure if Ulta has an on-line store. But I definitely recommend it. I'm hooked and I'm glad you're enjoying it. The Photo finish name makes you feel like you look airbrushed!

At first I thought it was for your photos until I read the post. Looks like an interesting "new" thing to try.

Interesting indeed! Would it still make me feel silky without make-up? I love the name of it.
