- I'm a major homebody (sometimes to the point of being anti-social) and really enjoy being a homemaker. Now if only I could be a better housekeeper... I can't stand being hurried or making small talk. I love anything that makes my surroundings more beautiful or cozy. I need alone time to recharge my batteries. I love having projects to work on and books waiting in the wings.

Such a cute picture!
I've been taken aback by all of the early Christmas decorating. Then I was calendaring December last night and realized we just don't have that much time between Thanksgiving & Christmas this year. It was shocking really. And now I want to get my tree up soon!

Cute! I keep thinking we should get our outside stuff up so we aren't doing it in the snow, but I just can't do it before Thanksgiving! It is ingrained in me!
