peace

During my fast last week, I felt impressed several times that I needed to go to the temple. It's been far too long since I've been, and here was this undeniable prompting.

Today was the day. I determined I would go after I dropped Eva off at preschool. It's always surprising to me to see a completely full parking lot there in the middle of a weekday. Evidently a lot of people had the same idea.

It was tight (in fact I was a few minutes late picking her up), but I'm so glad I did it. So much peace and reassurance to be found. My problems were minimized, always such a blessing.

The parking lot there is ALWAYS packed! It's amazing. I drive by there at all different random times and it's always busy.

I'm glad you went. I will watch Eva for you any time you want to go.

Great photo!

That is a beautiful sight indeed. I remember touring that Temple at the open house when I was a teenager going through a difficult time.

How I would love to be closer to one. Maybe someday.

So glad you went.

I love going to the temple and wish three hours was enough time to go while my girls were in school, but I've tried it and I never get back in time.

I'm glad you went...it definitely brings a peace to your life you can't find elsewhere.

I'm glad you could go to the temple--that's always good to escape the world for a bit.

I LOVE your new banner!

Good for you! There is nothing like the peace that comes from attending the temple. And I think we we follow those promtings, the Lord truly blesses us.

Um, totally meant to type 'when we,' not 'we we.' Ha!

Man...I really need to get my butt to the temple. It's also been way too long for me, and I find myself longing to go. Embarrassing confession: we need to get our recommends renewed first - they expired in September! Shameful.

I also need to make a greater effort to attend the temple regularly. I'm usually pretty good about going on our Stake's temple night, but then sometimes I'll suddenly realize that it has been a month or two since going. I love the total escape from worldly cares.

I wish we lived close enough to a temple that I could even attempt doing this while Jared was at school. It takes me at least an hour to get to the temple. How nice that you were able to go.

I'm always surprised with how crowded the temple is (the Provo).
I need to go way more often than I do.
The temple is the place to get life back on track and things in perspective.
