Have you tried the Genius function in the latest version of iTunes?
You can (right) click on any song in your music library and it generates a playlist for you! It also suggests music from iTunes that you might like (on your sidebar).
It's so great -- it digs up songs that I like but have forgotten about and haven't listened to in ages.
It really is genius.

I love the Genius function in iTunes and am quite addicted to using it. It's like someone has gifted me all kinds of music I love, and that person was myself. Hmmm.
I can't wait to tell my kids about this- they just ran out for FHE treats & I didn't go- feeling wiped out from getting home last night after a weekend away.
They will be so impressed with my itunes info- if they don't already know that...
