If you send Jessie good mail, it will arrive in this mailbox.
view into the dining area and out onto the deck and beautiful backyard
This cute kitchen has got me convinced more than ever that I need to paint my cabinets!
view from the back yard, looking out over the neighboring yards
beautiful, wooded backyard, complete with tiny creek
the wall-o-frames is even more charming than I remembered!
cute details abound (awesome photo taken by our dad in Mexico!)
another testament to the amazing transformative powers of spray-paint!
These used to be our suitcases. If I had thought of making them into a seriously cute side table, I might not have parted with them! Putting the feet under the suitcases = genius.
master bedroom
There are certain places where you feel immediately at home. The Tanner residence is one of these for me. So is North Carolina! I'm not sure how it's possible to feel that way about a place you've never visited before, but there you have it.

Jessie's house is so darling! I've seen bits and pieces of it in photographs before, but appreciate having the bigger picture. I love having a mental picture of where my loved ones live. Thanks!
SO CUTE! Loving all the details.
I'm so, so glad you took all these pictures of Jessie's cute house. I've been wanting these details ever since she moved there. I love everything and think her house is super quaint, stylish, homey, comfortable and great.
How could you not feel at home there? I love her style, in any room! Great post Michelle, great house Tanners!
Oh, the girl has a knack. I am jealous of her knack! She's amazing.
I love her style! Her home could be in magazine! I thought my wall of frames idea began with either you or jessie . . . thanks for the tour!!
Her house is very cute! I love how colorful it is...and the decor is lovely! She has talent and style!
Both of you have a Knack!! It must run in the family-
I love the details of this post. I can't help but think how fun it will be in the years to come. I'm so glad you got to visit.
Her house looks amazing. She certainly has a way, well you both do in my opinion.
Thank you for the tour, Michelle! You're right, it WAS inspiring. What a fun field trip for me today. Thank you.
I love her colors and all her plates. I would like to know the story of every one of them.
"Painfully cute" is exactly the right label.
I bet she loved having you there, and is feeling quite bereft this morning.
I think I'll have to link this right into my design blog!! How do you do that, anyway???
I'm serious!
I do have the talented, creative and daughters with "knack"!
Thanks for the pictorial!
What a compliment - that you immediately feel so at home in her house! I loved so much - the turquoise chandelier, the mossy steps, the red flowers popping out of cute bottles!
classy just runs in your family i guess! i need to remember to take detailed photos of my house like this, not that they would be this cute, because it's not even close, but i would love to have photos like this of my home growing up. luckily my mom didn't know how to zoom in so i have a lot of house in the "backround" of any photo she took! :) great post, i'm so glad you had a chance to get away and visit. jesse is lucky to have you for a sister.
Hey, i love love love the tour, and the beautiful PAINT...what is more amazing is the hands on that jessie has on all of these projects... I love it, loved the license plate.!
This was a great tour! Even though I have seen lots of pictures, the layout was still not complete in my head.
Such great embellishments to her home! They all look like something you could have found in a Martha magazine. I loved the green walls. So happy and fresh.
I could move in tomorrow.
I love her color scheme and eye for detail...yet it's not cluttered and too knick-knacky.
She probably loves that you took these as well...I'm stealing that frame with the wire basket and pictures idea. Ingenious!
Thanks for the tour... it is always nice to be able to picture people in their element. I wish I could commit to decorating like she does... I am a bit hesitant to make things "permanent."
I just want to move in to that house right now! What a great color palette.
