technical difficulties

We are having some strange computer problems around here. Yesterday I was trying to post to my blog and make a new banner. Simple stuff. But apparently our computer can't handle it right now. Even my techie buddy Max couldn't figure out the problem. I was just trying to crop a photo in Photoshop, and I got an error message that our hard drive was full. Full! So I moved a bunch of photos to the external drive, and Max and I found a bunch of crash logs and caches that we deleted. After that, it said we had 17 GB. Whew!

But then I went back to Photoshop to crop that picture. And I got the message again. I turned off the computer in frustration and went to bed. When I turned it on this morning, it said we had 0 KB available. Zero!

Technology!

I've been wondering why you haven't posted since Wednesday. We occasionally have hard drive issues because of all the pictures on our computer. I then go through and make sure they're all in Smugmug so I can delete them.

I hope your issues is resolved very soon.

Technology drives me crazy- I feel for you! I use Kelly as my techno-crutch instead of learning it myself but that always leaves me stranded when he is not available.

Good Luck!!

Computers are wonderful, but when they're not working properly there's nothing more frustrating. I know I need to get a hard drive just for photos because they are making my computer so slow. Or do Smugmug. Something!

I hope you figure it out soon. Good luck.

Don't get me started......computer woes just put me in bad mood! That's the thing about computers, they're supposed to be akin to a genius and then there is something unexplainable like that!

Rrrrrrrrrrr

Thank heavens for Max!

I've had my own. Hence the no posts in a loooong time. I hope things get resolved for you soon.

I also wonder about kids and clowns. There's not a child out there who likes clowns. My shirts shrink in length, too. Weird. Your list made me chuckle... thanks!

Enjoy all that snow! And be safe, too. The driving much be a bit treacherous.

I am thinking of that song in Napolean Dynomite that Kip sings to Lafonda at the wedding about how much he loves technology...
