happy valentine's day
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I had my best Valentine's Day ever. (That's probably not saying a whole lot, as I can't think of many very memorable ones, but still...)
I got the best, most thoughtful gift from Marc -- I only wish I could take photos to post, but it hasn't arrived yet. He made me a Blurb book and I got to view it online. It's called
SPECIAL
BORING
FRAGILE (based on an Eva quote)
and on the inside it says: "a little valentine celebration of shared memories, jokes, tastes, secrets..."
It's funny, it's sweet, and it's tender. In other words, it's perfect.

That picture is so cute. I'm dying to see the book Marc made for you and am totally shocked at his thoughtfulness. What a great gift!
Great picture! I can't wait to hear all about this book- what a thoughtful gift! Hooray for the goodness!
Wow. Marc can really come up with good gifts, can't he? If the secrets aren't too secret, I hope you'll share when it comes! ;)
PS--I loved the letters to your kids. They were really sweet.
I want to see it. Sounds like the perfect gift. I love heart felt creations.
oooh I hope you can post some of the book, it sounds so great.
That is the perfect gift. Presents that are just stuff given because you need to find something are not actually gifts, they are things. I'm so happy you had a great day!
Hooray for the BVD ever! What a great photo and the blurb book is an amazing present.
cute V-day card and your love letters were so special. your children will appreciate them one day :)
What a guy!
Can I just tell you that I love your blog! When I pull it up, it's so beautiful and pleasing to the eye! What a beautiful family you have and you are such an amazing woman; you inspire me to be better. Thank you!
what a thoughtful husband you have! i'm excited to see how you like yours, i've been working on "tweaking" mine but have been chicken to print it! why? i don't know, so be sure to post about how it turned out! it has been so fun to catch up on your blog, i loved reading your love letters, your kids will really appreciate that some day. the hair stylist story gave me goose bumps, good for her for being brave enough to stand up for you! and i am totally trying the peanut noodles recipes, looks so good! thanks for sharing!
Good for you. I am glad that someone's husband is finally getting IT! You've been married longer, so I will give mine a few more years to catch up. It sounds like an awesome gift. Can't wait to see the photos.
