recipes

Several of you asked for the recipes for Katrina's vegetable lasagna and/or my grandmother's cream pies. On a hunch, I searched my blog, and it turns out, I have posted both of them before! So if you're interested, you can find the lasagna recipe here. Vanilla (or chocolate) cream pie recipe here.

Also, Marc and I went to see Dan in Real Life tonight. Oh my. Loved it.

That movie was most excellent! Such a great date night movie I thought.

Thanks Michelle! I am going to use the cream pie recipe for Thanksgiving. Will it turn out on my first try? I sure hope so.

I was just coming to search your archives for the cream pie...too funny!!

I have been excited about Dan in Real Life, I am so glad it's as good as it looks. I would have been SO disappointed otherwise.

Thanks for the recipes.

You commented onmy blog about the puree cookbook - if you aren't up for buying it, you could probably flip through it and get the jist of it and be able to do many of the recipes (pasta, pancakes, etc.) without buying it.

Thanks for the scooter idea - love that! I had never considered getting scooters. Hmmm, maybe Santa?

I have heard about your cream pies. I am hoping that after your lesson with Jill she will be making them for us soon! Yum.

Such a great movie! I agree with Jill that my heart hurt a little. But it was so nice to see a good, cute, movie about a nice, normal (dysfunction and all) family!

THANK you! I copied and printed them both! I am always looking for tried and true recipes! I just don't trust a cookbook that raves about it's own recipe, you know? THANKS again!

My husband & I just saw that a week ago. I loved the movie..the pace, the awkwardness, the relaxed family times.

Thank you for the recipes!
