still sad

Yesterday was much better than Wednesday. I felt sad and heavy, but I didn't cry at all. I was thinking about Hannah and that I should call or email her and see how she was faring. Right after that, she showed up at my door with flowers! It was so sweet, and it lifted my spirits.

Today we spent the whole day at Jill's. It was great to be distracted from sad thoughts and I had a good day. However, we went to a movie tonight. It was supposed to be a comedy, but it featured a pair of sisters, and by the end I lost it. Poor Marc, I wasn't a very good date! I cried all the way home. I guess this is really going to take some getting used to...

Hannah is my hero--she always puts her intentions into action!

That's so sad that the movie made you cry like that. I thought you were faring pretty well, but this is a set back indeed. Hopefully you can get right to sleep and then wake to a beautiful, busy day with a blog party to go to.

I'm so glad there are people who actually do what some of us just think.

Bad timing for the sister movie. Dang it. I hope once Jessie is there and settled and you are interacting again you will feel better.

It will slowly get better but I must stress the slowly part. I always have the hardest time with the holidays of coarse, but it always gets me when sometimes my only options are to have the holidays with Jasons family because they are close.

Hannah is pretty awesome for bringing you flowers especially for how she is feeling. What a great friend.

Your circle of friends are awesome! Sorry to hear about the movie...(what movie would that be?) Having a close relationship with a sister is a huge blessing!
Does Jessie need to be showered with GOOD MAIL in her new area?

I will admit that bringing those flowers by was in part to help me get out of my moping- so win/win for both of us!

I think you will have ups and downs- I know I am anyway. I am thinking that once she is there it will be 'easier', at least I hope that.

Thinking of you :)

Hannah always impresses me with her thoughtfulness! A sister movie? That just wasn't fair timing for you -- sorry about that!

Yep. Movies will do that! I hate that. (I don't want to bawl in public) Anything like this is so hard right at first! It's understandable. How great to love your sista so much! That's what family is all about, huh!? ciao

I think Hannah's right. Once Jessie is settled and begins to form friends and so on, she will be FULL of news and bits and bobs to tell you about. It will be a thrill. The two of you will be busy, busy, busy trying to keep each other updated on your news. Your feet won't touch the ground, I'm sure.

I hope next week gets better for you.
