a very sweet (and cute!) card from Collette

One of Claudia's signature letters. This one contained two cards, a napkin, and a sack, all completely covered in her lovely handwriting. Plus, there were several quotes tucked inside, and it was all wrapped up in pretty magazine pictures. I don't know how she does it, I never have that much to say!
I still hadn't gotten over the giddiness of getting mail, but then when Marc came home, he said there was a package from Jill in the mailbox! (he doesn't have a key) I just crept downstairs to check it out:
Two adorable letters from Landon to Lucas (I have been trying to get Lucas to send postcards with very little success), a cool card that Jill made from one of her Paris photos, and a white eyelet shirt with a black ribbon sash! I don't know when Jill started buying me clothes, but I must say I like it! A lot. It's been so hot here that I can't wait to wear a shirt with holes all over it...
Thanks, girls, for seriously brightening my day!

That is exciting! Glad you got some before your return.
I got the package I sent you back in the mail yesterday. :( It was stmaped with 'Returned for Customs Declaration.' I know nothing of such nonsense. Now there's not enough time so I just have to wait until you get back. Drat!
wonderful that you are getting GM in paris...even sounds wonderful to say!
mail is so much more appreciated when you're far from "home". how cool that you got those. i love the letter from claudia- it looks so exotic! :)
oh lala madame--i must say i love the red ink...i was having my doubts, how cool to get so much mail from your girlfriends and then all at once...wow. i just have been so touched by all your pictures, still trying to come back and catch up, but thank you for brightening my day as well
I'm so delighted you got some good mail in Paris, but am slightly bummed that it's practically on the eve of your departure. I think the technical difficulties of your mailbox labeling must have sent several things back to their senders $%#@!. At least you got these!
I sent you a mother's day package to Paris and mailed good mail to you before you even left - I'm sad you never got it! What's up with that?!
How fun to get some mail...it always brightens my day too.
Is that Jessie commenting?!
I was worried it might not get to you but glad it finally arrived. Looking forward to your return!
