They helped me carry her and her stroller up and down innumerable stairs! They got her up in the morning and often gave her breakfast or changed her diaper before I even woke up. They helped entertain her when she was tired, bored, and/or fussy. That was particularly welcome when I was tired myself and just didn't want to deal with it anymore. They bought her treats. They just generally were kind to her, indulged her, and helped me so so much.
Jana fixed her hair, and even put it in braids for the first time! The process actually put her to sleep.
Eva was always excited to see Jenn because she played with her and entertained her so well. And Jenn actually appeared to be happy to see Eva! (even though she was up with her once in the night -- don't get me started)
Jill even took a self-portrait with her! How cool is that?
Suffice it to say that Eva and I have both been sad today since our friends left. (That's how she refers to them collectively -- friends.) We've been in withdrawal and looking at pictures on the computer.

Great thought! Six moms ARE better than one! Who wouldn't agree!!!Hope you won't be too lonely (or Eva!) We'll be there before you even have time to rest and catch your breath. Glad your cute friends could come and what cute friends they are!
Goodnight!
Really sweet photos. Hope your stay in Paris will be fun and full of adventure! Loved all the photos you took - it's great to see you have so much support and friends.
I have such happy thoughts thinking of you all in Paris this past week. What a wonderful memory you will cherish forever. Amazing!
Oh, and really enjoyed Devil in the White City as well. I was quite surprised too!
I think Eva did great, I knew 6 moms would make it so much easier. What a fun, rare, and amazing experience for all of us. Thank you for hosting us so well!
Oh yes, it's always nice to have extra hands to help. What great friends you have - I know you will miss them all.
How cute is Eva!? I love the braids. I bet is was so helpful to have all your friends there. Too bad they couldn't have stayed for the full 6 weeks. I'm sure they would have loved that as well. I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip. Look forward of hearing and seeing more of paris.
Ok, this just makes me cry - seriously!! I got to really love little Eva and enjoyed having her along. I love that she can say "Coco!"
love the title and indeed, it must be true!
especially with such lovely moms!
Sometimes it makes you wonder if maybe polygamy really wasn't such a bad thing :)
oh sweet.
her hair is so long! i need to try braids on sj.
I'll bet they were enjoying to have someone to mother (part-time, anyways) because they were missing their own mothering routines.
This was fun to immerse myself in one blog - I enjoyed you doing the same on mine!
Can I have your Paris address? I have a small *good mail* for you.
Cute post. Eva is absolutely adorable. I need to borrow her sometime.
