The journey seemed interminable. The kids didn't really sleep, except that Eva dozed for about 3 hours at the very end. Max and Lucas struggled mightily with motion sickness during the last portion of the transatlantic flight, the airport, and shuttle to the apartment portions of our trip. Marc and I managed not to fall victims to their peristaltic chain reaction, but were tired to the core.
Now that we have been here a few days and are getting over the fatigue of the travel nightmare, we are able to smile again.
The first couple of days we just took it easy. The kids and I walked over to see...
...and the lovely park at its base.
Whew! The computer situation here is not as good as I'd hoped, but fortunately Marc brought his laptop and I will have access a decent amount of the time. More to come!

So good to hear from you and that things are going good. Glad you got there safely and without incident!
So glad you made it without a total breakdown. I love the walk you took with your kids, amazing!
And I'm with Lori, enjoys some French food for me too!
I was worried that all was not the best on the flight since I had not heard anything from you! EEK! Did the boys take anything for motion sickness? Try to relax a bit--no mention on the knee, how is that?
Keep up the blogging!
How magical that you are able to "walk" and see such amazing sites! Hope your littles recovered quickly from their long journey! What an opportunity for them!
