a very happy Easter weekend

Our Easter celebration began on Saturday. We went to Salt Lake to Marc's sister Michelle's house for dinner and an egg hunt. I finally got to see her newly-remodeled kitchen! She has waited for so long, and it is all gorgeous.

Full-size side-by-side fridge and freezer. Dreamy!

Nice, long bar, and just a glimpse of the double ovens!

Grandpa helped Eva up the step to get an egg on the porch...

...and she found a pair of strong, safe hands helping her back down.

Yesterday's church meetings were wonderful, and just what I needed. I felt so filled. Afterwards, Jessie's family and Charlotte came over for dinner and another egg hunt, just for the little girls (I re-hid the eggs Eva found the day before!)

Timm, Jessie and Bella -- such a cute little family.

Remember the coordinating Easter clothes? Well, this was the best shot of all the kids together...

Eva did much better when allowed to roam around at will. (Check out those movie star teeth!)

Eva spent most of the Easter clothes photo session lying on the sidewalk checking out the ants.

I had a most wonderful weekend. I love Easter and spring-time -- new life, renewal, gratitude. Click here to see more photos.

Oh Michelle--that picture of the kids is darling! I love Eva's curled nose in the solo picture and her studying the ants as well. What a great story you captured. Good luck with your knee surgery today. I'm thinking of you.

Love,
Jane

I love how pleased Lucas looks at Eva's antics. The kids still look cute in their matching clothes, personality pictures are always fun.

I'm glad you had such a great weekend. I hope you heal quickly this week and are able to do all that you need to before Paris.

Love the kitchen! Love the coordinating outfits -- so sweet of your husband. And I love all the pictures, but my favorite is the one of the hands supporting Eva. That one just kind of caught my heart.

Thinking of you today, and your poor poor invaded knee. Heal quickly!

Your kid photos are darling! Eva is a little doll and I love the big brothers laughing her on. I'm glad the day was so wonderful!

I'm thinking of you and hope some rest and recovery are on their way to you.

I can totally relate to having not so great pictures of my kids. The result may not be what you wanted, but don't they really capture what life is really like? Because of that I can find some appreciation for them. And, at least you can console yourself with this. We didn't get a single picture of Alex and Kaitlin in their Easter clothes before Alex spit up all over his outfit. It figures. We will definitely be staging a few when the laundy is done!

Sweet Michelle - how are you? I'm thinking of you and hoping that you recover QUICKLY and completely. I had my knee scoped as well and the recovery was slick - I didn't have to use crutches and was back on my feet within days. I hope this will be the case for you. Please keep us posted.

Your kids are darling! I love the coordinating Easter outfits and the very "real" picture of them all together! It sounds like you had a wonderful holiday.

Take good care and please tell your family to spoil you rotten. :)

Those outfits are so cute! At least you got some pictures. I have none of my kids in their Easter outfits, I had to leave for church at 7:30, and they were all still asleep! Oh well!

Oh, and I wanted to wish you good luck with your knee and recovery! Hope it goes well!

I love the picture of all the kids together, I love to see the real life moments, to remember that kids don't always sit and say "cheese" when we want. Great photos, cute kids!

I loved the pictures and hope that you are fairing well after your surgery. I couldn't imagine having to have surgery on my knees - you're a brave soul. I've been "under" three times - but nothing affecting my ability to walk. God Bless and hope your recovery is quick.
