dreaming

I just didn't have it in me today to do the SPT. Then, the more I thought about it, I realized that the only thing I want right now is for my knee to be better. So -- see the top photo of my last post!

I had a post-op visit with the surgeon yesterday, only to find out that I should have been taking aspirin ever since the surgery. No one told me! So now I am on a new aspirin regime. Because I have had a lot of calf pain in the last few days, they sent me to get an ultrasound to rule out a blood clot. Nice! That caused me some anxiety until yesterday afternoon. Good news: no DVT.

I am just tired out and nauseated (from the aspirin?). Would that $100 would buy me a functioning knee right now, and a normal walking gait, I would gladly pay that and more...

Such good news about not having the clot! WOW! That would cause some serious concern! Can't believe that no one told you about taking an asprin! I would be a bit ticked! Hope you are feeling better....by Friday!

Yes! That would be a good way to spend your cash (if only ...). I'd use mine that way, too, since my darn foot still hurts! I hope that soon you'll be strolling the streets of Paris pain-free. So sad and wrong that no one told you about the aspirin. Hope it's helping! I'm glad you don't have a clot. Those things are scary.

I had to get an ultrasound on my leg to see if I had blood clot. I wasn't nervous about it, but the drs seemed to be freaking out about it which made me concerned. Glad it wasn't that! When my brother had knee surgery in high school he had to sport a cane and go to school. He was a good sport about it and even used it as his logo when he ran for student body offices (alas he didn't win). I hope you recoup quickly and cna enjoy your time in Paris.

Hmmm.... I thought I commented here?

Jill was keeping me a little informed on the DVT. I am relieved that there wasn't a problem and wanted to scream for you about the aspirin overlook!

Thanks for your comments on my blog. It was nice to get up and have them...I always appreciate what you have to say.
