You can see that I'm terrible about taking care of my tools by this rusty specimen.
My favorite tiny grape hyacinths are now blooming!
Our little purple tulips are the first ones to bloom. They haven't opened yet, but it won't be long now.
The blossoms on my plum trees are just beginning to burst! The few short weeks when these trees are in bloom are my favorite time of the year. It lifts my spirits every time I see them. Although I am sad when the blossoms start to fall to the ground, it looks like a wedding in our yard.
My feet may be problematic and extra extra wide, but at least I have a pair of sandals I can wear! I love sandal season. (And I just did my toes with the new OPI polish that Melanie sent me!)
Best of all, spring brings with it the best feelings -- hope, renewal, and a lessening of my depression. I love it!

Here is what spring looks like in Utah today! Somehow I tend to forget just how volatile the weather can be here during the changes of the seasons. This hailstorm lasted about 15 minutes -- the wind was blowing the hail stones horizontally and there was hardly any visibility! So weird. (The most amazing thing is that Eva slept through it.) Now it's just raining. Good thing I got some yard work done yesterday...

Oh my gosh, that new skirt, sandals and your painted toes are so cute! That's a happy spring sight for sure.
The blossoms on your plum tree are always so gorgeous, I love the tree and love that you can see it from our Creative Friday seat and from kitchen window. I want a tree like that some day!
Rusty tools, oh my.
flirty skirt alert!! how cute!
i love that you have all these spring things right in your yard. ours is sadly under-landscaped. some day...
I love all your pictures! Cute skirt, and those sandals are darling!
Great pictures! I love to work outside in the spring, too. And I have a special place in my heart for grape hyacinths. The skirt and sandals are very springy -- it's just a wonderful time of year!
I am fear our spring is way out if you have that many blossoms already. I'm jealous!
Love the toes, mine must get painted soon. I have neglected them this winter. Cute skirt too, I love black and white.
Ok, I'm really not fear. I meant.... I fear our spring is down the road aways. Dang I need spell and grammar check today! =)
Your photographs are stunning!
I can understand the changing weather, that's for sure! We don't have any blooms or blossoms or leaves or green grass for that matter. Aughh. I like your cute skirt and fun sandals...and your toes look pretty spunky, too!!
wow- that is a lot of weather for one day!
i love the great skirt and fun sandals. so glad you found a pair that you love.
I love the flowers and tree's your pictures are so nice.
Your feet look so cute!
It is not worth going outside (or getting out of bed) unless you can wear sandals. I was driving through Utah County during that freak storm, but I didn't catch any hail gratefully.
Your sandals are too cute (as are your toes) I have wide feet as well. One thing I love about Utah is all of the pretty tulips growing everywhere.
I love your skirt!! Why can't I even find such cute stuff?? Love the sandals. I am in need of some new ones. WHat color is the nail polish? And do I dare ask where can you find that brand?
I thought the weather people messed up on their forcast today. I woke up to beautiful skies and then around 2 it all hit and we had hail also. I guess it will get nice again for the weekend.
Our tools look a lot a like!
Forget your sandals, I'm in love with your skirt. So so cute. I love your pictures of Spring.
Seriously what's up with our spring? Every year I feel we get gypped.
I am loving your skirt and your awesome comfortable sandals. I love sandal season too.
