the view from my window

This is the scene we woke up to today! It's hard to believe that I was out riding my bike two days ago...

When the seasons are changing, Utah weather is very indecisive. This will probably continue for another couple of months. It seems that every spring, a big snowstorm arrives just as the tulips have poked their heads through the ground. I guess I'm being given an opportunity to enjoy the arrival of spring while not having to say goodbye to winter just yet.

I'm gathering my gear and getting ready to make the trek out to Eagle Mountain -- Creative Friday will survive!

I'll never forget my freshman year at SUU, I got out to my car after class in MAY and it had snowed. I used a credit card to scrape my window off...

Have a great C.F. Good for you for making the trek!

I love the snowy photo! Hope you had as much fun today at Creative Friday in another location.
Spring can't come fast enough for me this year!

I too was surprised even though I pay attention to weather reports, it caught me off guard. It looks so pretty outside today.
Have fun at Creative Friday!

Beautiful picture, but shocking when you are ready for spring! The news last night said we might get snow this morning, but just the usual rain drops.

It has been nice to have some bright sunny days followed by some snowy cool ones. It's the best of both worlds.

I always laugh when you guys refer to your 40 minute drive as treking out. Funny. That is about the distance between my parents house and my sisters in AZ. I will say it is pretty painful to have to drive that far to see someone (especially with kids).

I can't believe it's snowing again in Utah. Crazy weather. I am sure you gals will create something fun. Can't wait for the updates.

I always feel like we are being teased. We are getting a taste of spring and all of it's goodness and then the snow comes back.

I love the photo!
We are in limbo time, as well. A final decision never gets made by my timetable, in terms of the weather gods.

I've decided I'm okay with the off and on winter weather because at least there's a reprieve. It's like Mother Nature is reminding us to have hope for spring while showing us that winter isn't over yet.

Thanks for trekking out to Eagle Mountain AND for bringing Cafe Rio!!!
