putting my best foot forward

Thanks to lelly for this week's Self-Portrait Tuesday theme!

My feet almost always have socks on them (except during the summer, when they are usually bare). Cute socks are definitely a bonus, and I especially have a weakness for striped ones. (these little beauties are courtesy of Jill!)

I used to wear a size 7 shoe, but after having fallen arches and 3 babies, I now wear an 8 or an 8 1/2. My feet are soooo wide, it is difficult to find shoes that fit.

Lately my feet have been hurting quite a bit all along the soles. I guess it's time to schedule a doctor's appointment. They have dry, cracked heels, and they're not the most beautiful feet in the world, but they get me where I need to go!

Yay, another challenge post. Such fun today.

Don't fun socks just make sense? They are cheerful and carefree, yet keep your toesies cozy (ok,I must turn off Noggin. Zee's winter song is in my head now)...love your stripes!

Love your socks! My feet grew 1/2 size with each child I had! Good thing that I started with a size 6 shoe!

Your feet look mighty cute in those socks. My feet have gotten bigger with both pregnancies too so now I'm an 8.5, weird.

Cute socks! And, my feet also grew with each pregnancy. It's nice to know that seems to be a common thing. It certainly surprised me the first time!

My feet grew with pregnancy too but sadly enough I'm only up to a 6 now. I posted a pic for Self Portrait Tuesday as well. Glad to see in your previous post you liked the beads. My kids finally made it to their 1st parade this weekend , after Mardi Gras. It was Mardi Paws, and we brought our dog. The crew threw beads and dog bones. It was fun but crowded, a reminder of why we don't "do" Mardi Gras.

Love the stripes!! My feet grew a little with each pregnancy but somehow I wear the same size now as before. DOes that mean they shrunk after delivery?

I am loving those socks! Jill has good taste! My feet have gotten bigger since babies but only in certain kinds of shoes. So weird, dress shoes I have to go 8.5 or 9 but running/tennis shoes still an 8. I have never figured it out.

LOVE your cute socks Michelle! I wish I still wore an 8.5- babies did my feet in too.

Just caught up on blogs so quickly- love your good mail, especially the notebook you sent Marc- WOW!! And that quote from Anne's blog is definitely thought provoking- I don't know if I can rise to the risk!

Very cute socks. My feet have grown/widened. I attribute it to the weight gain not the babies. I don't know, maybe both! Cute socks looks so fun, one more sign that I am not a fun girl!

I LOVE those socks! So cute. My feet have grown also with pregnancy. I was a 7.5 and now I'm an 8.5. I also used to never wear glasses and now I have to wear contacts full time! Ah, these babies. I am glad to hear I am not the only one with dry heals. Mine are so bad I am too embarrassed to go and get a pedicure!

Those are the cutest socks. Love the pink and brown combo. You know I always cross my feet when laying down too.

Cute stripety socks! Fallen arches, huh? I am convinced my arches have fallen, too. Not 100% sure, but I think so. My poor old feet! At least I have cute socks like yours to keep them cozy!

Happy Best Foot Forward day!

Your socks are cute. Pink and Brown my favorite!! My feet have stayed the same--however they got so swollen and huge when I was pregnant they were a size bigger too.

How did I pin you for a striped sock girl? How scary to have your feet hurting. Hopefully you are getting plenty of support in your shoes. I say this as I stupidly ran on a sore foot today and now it is aching.

My feet are also cracked. (but mine are hideous) I hate socks (wearing them, you have cute ones). I can't wait until it is warm so I can ditch wearing (Nick's) socks altogether.

I love the idea of you wearing cute socks all the time. How fun. I need to get back to that. Mine are quite blah. I do love the soft, furry socks though. Aren't those the best?!
