good mail-o-rama

I've had a lot of good mail arriving over the last week or two, but I haven't gotten around to posting about it. Every time I get good mail, I have a little debate about whether or not to post about it. I don't want people to think I am gloating over my cards and packages, but then again, I always love to see what other people get in the mail. And, I get giddy when I know that someone received whatever I sent. So, this being my blog, I decided I'm going for it.

Rachelle sent me a little package of the cutest file folders from Old Navy, ribbons in my fave colors, cute nail files and post-its, M's (oh, how I love the monograms!) and a new flavor of gum to try out!

Hannah sent me three sheets of these stickers that I have been coveting for quite some time. Jessie gave me some of the white ones awhile back, and I loved them so much, I wanted more! Since they're from Leaving Prints, I don't really have access to them, so this was quite a treat. Thank you!

Jessie sent me the tiniest album I've ever seen (it even has a magnetic closure!), tiny little cards to match, more ribbon, and some very cool envelopes. (While it's true that I have a lot of ribbon, I never tire of it, so I guess I have the capacity to love a lot of ribbon. If only I had more storage space.) And is anyone else infatuated with all things tiny like I am?

Three darling cards I have received lately from Amy Hanks and Jill.

Yesterday I had a little box from Kristi in my mailbox. I had no idea what it was, but I was crossing my fingers for stationery. Can you even believe how cute these cards are? My photo turned out terrible, so you can't see that they say "merci beaucoup" on them. In her card, she wrote, "The other day I am at this awesome store and I hear something that sounded like your name. And it was this set of thank you cards saying, 'I belong to Michelle'. So of course I had to save them from the store and get them to you! They were made for you!"

Of course I think they were made for me, but to have someone else see them, think the same thing, and then send them to me is such a delight. I always think it would be the most fun thing in the world to buy everything I see that has someone's name written all over it.

Thanks to everyone -- you each totally made my day, and all on different days, so I've been having a lot of good ones!

Ooh! Fun mail. Whiel your post doesn;t seem like gloadting, it simpley reminds me that I have several pieces of good mail in varying stages of doneness, and that I should stop blogging and get to work!

I don't think your post is gloating at all. I like to post about good mail because when I look back through things it reminds me of that great day and that thoughtful person etc. Love that tiny album- all things tiny are so enjoyable. And that stationary does look like it belongs to you!

I have the same reservations about gloating, but I love seeing the good mail people send (and the cute ideas) so.. you aren't gloating, just very excited about your packages.

I LOVE the little cards everyone sent. Especially the Eiffle Tower. So cute.

The tiny album is the cutest ever.

I have the same debate with myself every time I get good mail, but, like you said, it is YOUR blog and it's so much better to share the joy than worry about gloating or hurt feelings!

Michelle,
I have the same reservations about posting about the good mail. Sometimes I feel like its just between me and that person, but if I post one, I should post them all, you know? I don't know, I am totally neurotic. I do, however, LOVE to see what other people get, so I am just nutty!
So good to hear from you!

I say post it all! We all love to see the good mail and I think it inspires others to follow through on any thoughtful ideas they have. I have never thought someone was gloating about their good mail and certainly hope no one would think that of me either.

These items are so cute, it's goodness all around. Thanks for posting it all.

I love it when people post about their mail, I love seeing when things that I have sent are received and liked (how vain does that sound), so I'm glad that you've posted about your good mail days.

I love the tiny things and the monograms. Nice. OOHH, the stationary that Kristi sent, what an eye/ear that girl has. It does look like you.
