OK, so it wasn't a great day or anything, but considering that I held a crying, sick baby all day long and literally didn't do anything else, I think I'm holding up pretty well. Of course, my surprisingly good state of mind may have something to do with the fact that Jill dropped by some pretty flowers and a McDonald's bag -- without my knowledge! -- and I got both a card and a package from Jessie today!

It's interesting: these thoughtful gestures didn't diminish Eva's neediness at all, they didn't enable me to do anything productive today, but they lifted my spirits. Somehow, just knowing that these loved ones were thinking of me and wanting to help in some way made all the difference. So thank you, thank you. I thought I would be worse off right now than I really am. Now please pray for me so that I don't get this nasty illness and miss the blog party!

**Jessie: you constantly amaze me with your creativity. What's with the tiniest card in the world that is so cute? And turning a simple chipboard letter into something painful that is worthy of building a layout around? And how is every card that you make completely different from all of your previous designs? All I can say is wow. And thanks.**

You guys amaze me and all of your cute packages. Its always nice to know someone is thinking of you. That was so thoughtful of Jill to drop those buy. I love unexpected flowers!
Oh Michelle, I've been thinking about you all day yesterday and onto this morning (I was telling Randy of your plight while we were walking). I hate not being able to help you or take this away from you. I'm definitely praying that you won't get sick too. (Be strong, wash hands, mind over matter, vitamins, mantras, prayers, whatever it takes.) I saw those beautiful flowers and just had to get them for you. I hope they will bring a bit of color and cheer to this dismal week.
I'm glad to hear you have not gotten the "sickies". I wish you continued luck in that arena. It would be so sad if you missed the blog party.
Such a fun package. It is so nice when someone sends a sweet note, or a fun item in the mail. It always brightens my day too.
I am so sad to know that yours is still a sick house, but glad that the package was fated to arrive when you needed it most. Good for Jill in supplying food and flowers! Keep your spirits up and use the power of positive thinking to avoid the sickness yourself! We're praying! :)
I hope that you are spared the sickness. We all know that the world does not stop when we get sick.
I am glad that Jill brought you flowers and Jessie sent you fun stuff. Yes it might not take the day away, but it makes it bearable right.
I hope today is an even better day
So glad you spirits are lifted. I have been hoping you too won't get sick. That is definitely the worst. I never understand how mothers are suppose to do it. You are a trooper. Its so fantastic to have such thoughtful loving family and friends. Hope to see you Friday.
I've been thinking about you. I hope that next week proves to be a better week for you.
I hope you are just busy tending to Marc and Eva and not sick yourself!
I'm glad your day turned out ok - under the circumstances!
Ditto Ditto!!! I, too, send my best wishes!! xoxoxoxo
