no longer a baby :(

I think today's the day that Eva is officially a toddler and no longer a baby. She's been walking for awhile now, but mostly just taking a few halting steps and then falling and crawling a bit. Her walking has been improving a lot, and today she just took off! She walks everywhere she wants, all the way down the long hallway, and she's fast! She never seems to fall anymore unless she's really tired and getting sloppy. I love to see my little girl gaining new skills and growing, but I'm also sad to see that she's not so much a baby anymore...

What a cute picture! At least she still LOOKS like a baby- the little phenomenon. I'm going to start calling her 'phenom.' She has her own song and everything! (that's better than being a baby;)

What a cute picture. I really had trouble letting go of the babies. I used to push Jessica down so she wouldn't learn to walk, it worked for awhile. I really miss them little, even though every stage has good things.

She's a cuta-bunga for sure. It's so fun to see toddling around the house. She's so delighted with herself. I know what you mean about being sad to see your baby move on, but she's still got some good years in her. Hee.

How darling and yes...so mature (LOL). She is so cute and I can imagine her growing up to be bitter/sweet. Yes, "bitter" is too strong of a word but I hope you get my meaning. Sad for the passing of babyhood and a hope and excitement for the future.

great photo.
they grow up so fast unless you are like me and my kids don't walk till they are a year and a half and it just drags on.
