score!

I can't believe it! I actually scored some books from D.I.! Every time Jill does it, I feel a pang of envy. I even went to the American Fork D.I. not too long ago because I was convinced hers must have better books, or more of them. But no, I didn't find a single book there -- nary a one. So today, I had a few minutes after doing some other errands before I had to be home and I decided to check out the Provo D.I.'s book section. Here's what I found in about 10 minutes of scouting. I spent most of my time in the hardcover section, because I didn't know they were separated from the softcovers. As I was leaving, I found a bunch of softcovers that looked interesting. If I'd had more time I bet I could have found even more! I know this is probably horrifying to book club Amy -- books that someone else has manhandled -- but they are all in pretty good condition and I am psyched that I got 10 books for around $20. Now I have a big stack to add to my not-yet-read collection.

What an absolute score! I can't believe you found a copy of Gift From The Sea and a Jennifer Haigh novel. I'm jealous, and can't help thinking that there must be lots of great paper backs there that you didn't get a chance to peruse. Hmmm. Who will get there first?

I know -- I almost bought that Jennifer Haigh novel at Costco recently!

I'm just jealous of DI in general--lamps to spray paint, furniture, and now books. There seems to be no end to the fun!

Those books look awesome. I can't believe the feeling when you find something of value for so little. I think that is the best feeling in the world.

WOW! You really did score! Three of those books have recently crept onto my list of things to read and you found them all in one place! Imagine if you had the time for the soft covers!!
