more good mail!

I may really have to start checking my mail. Marc came home late Wednesday night and brought in a package from my sister-in-law Michelle, with this cutest white linen embroidered dress! I wonder how long my surprise and enjoyment was delayed while it sojourned in my mailbox? He also brought in a package from my mom that had been left on the front step by UPS. Now, normally a package from my mom is reason for great excitement and there can be no delay in opening it. But this time, I thought it was just a bunch of stuff we left behind because we couldn't fit it all in our suitcases. (e.g., baby food, board books, a sweatshirt, etc.) So, unbelievably, I didn't open it until this morning! I will never make that mistake again, because, in addition to all those things, there was also some ribbon, and two more things for my birthday: Basic Grey naked chipboard letters & the cutest ever hot chocolate service for two! (in pink & brown, one of my favorite color combinations, no less...) Silly me. And thanks again to all my benefactors!

How fun! Two packages! I LOVE that hot chocolate set. Sipping cocoa always feels like such a luxury now it will look like one too!

I'll never understand your thing about not bringing in the mail, especially considering your mom sends great stuff frequently. Perhaps you've been submerged in her generosity for so long, you're becoming desensitized to it?? I hope not. That hot chocolate set is so stinkin cute, as is the darling dress from Michelle.

I hope that teaches you a lesson about bringing in the mail, missy.
