Late last night, Mom and Jessie and I finally had a chance to go over to Mom's store for awhile. We were all tired and vowed to be as quick as we could. But as soon as we got there I forgot all about being tired because it was so fun to look around at all of the beautiful things. It's hard not to want everything in sight! (Especially since Mom will try to give you anything you express the slightest interest in...) I thought you might enjoy seeing a few pics -- it is hard to convey how the store looks in pictures, so I tried to capture just a few "stories" as Mom calls them. The pink & green story, the black & white story, the aqua story... I think my mom is a genius with color and with design in general. Whenever I am around her, I just want to sit at her feet and soak in a little bit of her knowledge and, better yet, her eye for beauty. She always makes me want to beautify my life in its every particular.

The "stories" are beautiful and I know exactly what you mean about feeling tired but then forgetting about it when you got there. I've never seen anything like her store before I felt overwhelmed and entranced by it. I wanted to take it all in, and yet couldn't wrap my mind around it all. You and Jessie are lucky, lucky s.
She definitely has a gift. She's amazing.
Wow. Incredible. That's all I have to say.
OOOhhh! I've never seen pictures of your Mom's store, and I've always been curious! It looks dangerous--like a place you could forget all your worldly cares (and tiredness) and lose yourself. Thanks for sharing!
Amen! Wish I was there...
When do we get to see your mom's store? It looks SO awesome! I would forget how tired I was too with such beautiful things to relieve my tired eyes!
Thanks! Maybe I can keep it up for the next strenous stessful month while relocating the store. Eek! I wish you could all come. I miss you.
It is BEAUTIFUL just like you called it. I love to go into shops like that, that tell a story and you just glide from one beautiful site to the next finding those wonderful treasures to bring to your home and make a new story of it. What an awesome mom you have and opportunity to "get something" once in a while, maybe for a discount? hopefully.
C'est tres chic!
