My parents are my benefactors. I wish to death that I didn't need benefactors at the ripe old age of nearly 35, but since I do, I sure am glad to have them! It's only because of my dad's generosity that I was able to get my Odyssey. Otherwise, we would still all be crammed in "the cold car" as we call the old Civic in wintertime ("the hot car" in summer). Dad also gave us an extremely generous Christmas gift that we are still deciding how to use. My mom's middle name is generosity (good thing Grandma didn't give her one or who knows what might have happened?). My kids and friends and neighbors all get excited when a package from Grandma Susan arrives -- and I'm the most excited of all! By the way, she sends packages for every holiday. This little gem was in my valentine package. It is the tiniest, cutest thing I've ever seen AND it had $$ inside!! When my parents came for Christmas, the packages filled up my entire family room. No joke. Max and Lucas said it was the best Christmas ever. But, really, my parents make every Christmas the best Christmas ever. Thanks, Mom and Dad! I don't know if I can ever repay all you have done for me. I love you so.

I have witnessed many, many of their generous gifts (and been given some too) but this Christmas was over the top. I couldn't process the information really. It was like you showed me one amazing thing and then another, and another, and another. They are generous to a fault (such a lovely fault to have). Lucky you!
Thankyou my sweetest Shelle.
OK, how long did it take to get all those presents opened!? Did your kids wake up to that or did they see it before they went to bed? In my family we never put any presents under the tree until Christmas Eve. Then my parents waited until we were asleep. Christmas morning was always a huge surprise. So fun! How lucky you are to have such giving parents!
How many people in your family? Five? Whew - what a score! :)
